Ready for more similarities and differences?

Let’s talk a bit about the second part of my Prince Lindworm retelling.

The biggest similarities between Riverflow and the original story were the shed skins and the clothes. I decided to merge the two together: Isla needed to get rid of them and it had to be for a plot-related reason. Plus, I had the idea of a thief being accused of a crime he hadn’t committed for a while before writing Riverflow.

The two men Aife attacks represent the two princesses who were eaten by the lindworm. I wasn’t going to kill anyone, so I improvised a little here. Plus, the deaths of the princesses resulted in the king making very powerful enemies - something Elusive would understand all too well.
